Dinner time thought

As I sat next to a 9 month old , trying to feed her dinner, getting frustrated on the food that I prepared being wasted and wondering what goes in that tiny little brain.

Yay! I am in high chair. What is mummy doing? I am kind of sure, her name is mummy. Ok I am not really sure who she is but I see her face a lot. I mean a lot!
Ok mushroom is here, too. I wonder why he looks so different than rest of us. He is so white and fluffy.
I see mummy got some toys, there. Play time! Oh yes, mummy says, it’s actually called dinner time. This is my favorite play time. Yay! I am super excited!
What is that you are handing me, mummy?
Look I can pick it up using my thumb n finger. Should I put it in my mouth? Yes?
Let’s try dropping it off from this side of highchair. What? Mummy is trying to catch it. Hurry another side.
Oh, looks like mushroom loves it. May be mummy wants me to feed mushroom. Here mushroom, this looks yum.
Mummy got spoon, she has something in it and that spoon is heading toward me. Open! Open your mouth! Lol! Tricked you mumm, closed my mouth right at the knick of time. Let’s check if mushroom found this fun as well.
Mummy, I got my mouth open here, why can’t your spoon reach here? Mummy?
What? Didn’t see that spoon ? How did that thing got into my mouth? Swimming lesson! Blow raspberries, aim toward mummy. She loves it! She loves it!!
I love this dinner time.
Spoon thing is boring. Look at mushroom, he is all bored. Where is he? I cannot see him? Is that him? Is that him?
No mum this is boring! No!
Yay! She got me something! Pick, take it toward your mouth, look at mummy’s expression! Here mushroom, your treat!
Yay!! Blow raspberries!!

Happy new year

Dear sanu.
Happy new year! Today is Newari new year and we all newars take a day to thank and celebrate our body. Traditionally we eat huge feast and leave some left on the plate to cheat death and tell yamaraaj (the Newari god of death) that our body is fed with all the goodness and he can comeback later since we take care of our body so well.

Hang in there, buddy. Not long to go now.

ps: mushroom never leaves my side, these days. He is awaiting passionately to meet you as well just like daddy n myself 😉

35 weeks!

I never imagined that my belly can grow this big but here it is and I still got 5 more weeks to go! Despite my whingefests, lack of breath and energy, little poking in my ribs, yes despite all these, I have to say I actually enjoy this being heavily pregnant, immensely.

Hang in there buddy
(Few more weeks!)

PS: mushroom is excited, too

Mushroom all groomed

Mushy before his grooming. I still remember the day. He purposefully got dirty so that we would stay home with him 😉

That’s him all clean. He smelt so good but we could hardly recognize him after his make over. Hope we haven’t stolen others’ pet. We just picked which ever was the cutes ;P

PS:  he can now see the world without that fur photo-bombing his every vision 🙂

Aww the love

We left our beloved mushroom behind at home for few days to go and explore beautiful cairns. Come back and now he is terrified that we will leave him again and will be gone for few days. So he tries to pull every trick in the book to make us stay home. Breaks my heart 🙁

This morning he managed to have his face dirty, mind you, this dog is a princess and do not like dirt and being dirty.

PS:  we had lovely couple house sit for us and look after Mushroom while we were away.

This little emoticon is my life is mushroom. He has been rescued months or so ago by Wally’s doggie rescue. He is a real character and charmer. Me and my hubby cannot even imagine our lives without this fur ball or stink ball as we like to refer him to on days where he needs a good bath.

This was our first walk ;). Still feels like yesterday. He was so scared of everything and reluctant to try new things.

And this is how he likes to spend most of his days 😉
